Oct 01, 2008 Dissolution of JAL Group Subsidiary

Tokyo, October 1, 2008: JAL Corporation decided at a company shareholders’ meeting held on September 30, 2008 local time (October 1, 2008 Japan time) to dissolve JALPAK DE MEXICO S.A. DE C.V., a JAL Group consolidated subsidiary.

Established in February 1987, JALPAK DE MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. specializes in the planning and sales of air tickets and package tours to Asia, including Japan, to individuals and groups.

Due to the difficulty of achieving sustainable growth in present market conditions, it was decided to dissolve the subsidiary company.

The dissolution of the company will only have a minor effect on the JAL Group’s business activities.
