Tokyo, May 18, 2010: The JAL Group (JAL) announced today that it will temporarily reduce the number of weekly flights to Bangkok from June 1, 2010.
The JAL Group strives to responsively adjust its capacity to match sudden changes in demand resulting from event risks that confront the airline industry, such as the current anti-government demonstrations in Bangkok which have led to a decline in passenger bookings to the South East Asian city. Consequently, JAL has decided to reduce the flight frequency on its Osaka=Bangkok and Nagoya=Bangkok routes for the month of June.
JAL seeks the kind understanding of passengers who may be inconvenienced by this change.
