JAL Uses Twitter to Deliver Its Flight Information

TOKYO July 8, 2014: JAL Group (JAL) started delivering the latest international and domestic flight information on Twitter. The airline will send Tweets in line with the updated “flight information” on JAL website.

1.      Launch date:             July 8, 2014

 

2.      Twitter account:        JAL Flight Info (@JALFlightInfo_e)

3.      Contents of Tweets:

[Flight Information in Normal Operation]

JAL sends today and the next day’s flight information four times a day at 5:30, 10:00, 16:00 and 19:00(Japan Standard Time). 

 

[Flight Information in Irregular Operation]

The airline is Tweeting in line with the updated “flight information” on JAL website. “JAL Flight Info” is not available for replying comments on Twitter.
