JAL Launches Self-tagging Service for Domestic Check-in at Haneda’s Terminal 1
Tokyo February 13, 2015: Japan Airlines (JAL) has been introducing various services to deliver innovative travel experience to customers when they fly with JAL. This time, the airline plans to launch self-tagging service at Tokyo Haneda’s Terminal 1, in order to provide customers with a faster and more convenient check-in for departure.
Self-tagging service with JAL will allow customers to print their own baggage tags by scanning the boarding pass in Self-tagging machine and attaching them to their bags before proceeding to the Baggage Drop-off counter.
The introduction of the self-tagging service is expected to save customers’ time spent during check-in for departure. The current baggage check-in procedure is still available simultaneously to meet the needs of customers.
