JAL SKY Wi-Fi Service Onboard Its Boeing 767-300ERs and Boeing 787-8s to Be Expanded onto More International Routes
TOKYO February 26, 2015: Japan Airlines (JAL) has been introducing in-flight Wi-Fi service since July 2012 with Boeing 777-300ERs (*1). The airline will start to include Boeing 767-300ERs and Boeing 787-8s to introducing JAL SKY Wi-Fi service on more Europe, North America and long-haul Asia routes from March 3, 2015.
Under the theme of “Embrace new Challenges,” JAL is striving to introduce more innovative products and services to its customers.

Outline of Expanded JAL SKY Wi-Fi Service
1. Service Effective: March 3, 2015 ~
2. Applicable Aircraft: Boeing 767-300ERs (9 planes scheduled in FY2015)
Boeing 787-8s (3 planes scheduled in FY2015)
# Continue to introduce more 787-8s with JAL SKY Wi-Fi service in and after FY2016.
3. Applicable Routes: Europe, North America and long-haul Asia routes
4. International in-flight internet service ( Paid service):
Customers in every cabin class are able to send and receive e-mails, update and navigate their social networking service (SNS) utilizing their wireless LAN devices during the flight.
