JAL Internet Reservation Partnership with Outrigger
Tokyo January 18, 2008: On December 5, 2007, Japan Airlines (JAL) concluded a hotel and condominium internet reservation partnership with Outrigger Enterprises Group, one of the largest hospitality services companies in the Pacific with the largest hotel chain in Hawaii.
From January 23, 2008 Outrigger will launch a Japanese language hotel and condominium reservation website which will only be accessible exclusively through JAL’s website. By visiting www.jal.co.jp/outrigger/, customers will be able to access the new Japanese language website to make reservations at 25 hotels and condominiums in Hawaii operated by Outrigger. Outrigger offers a variety of choice from deluxe to moderately priced properties in Honolulu, Kona, Maui and Kauai at reasonable prices.
The direct reservation system allows the viewer to checkroom availability immediately and to select from different room types available such as city view and ocean view rooms and deluxe suites.
In Japan Region, members of JAL Mileage Bank (JMB), JAL’s frequent flyer program will be awarded bonus mileage when they book accommodation through the new website. JMB double and triple mileage campaigns will also be conducted until June 20 2008 enabling customers to accumulate up to a maximum of 1,500 JMB miles per stay.
Also visitors to JAL’s Japanese language Japan Region website between January 23 and April 30 will be able to enter a prize draw in which they will have the chance to win a trip to Hawaii inclusive of JAL flight and Outrigger accommodation.
