JAL Announces Board of Directors for FY2009
Tokyo, February 18, 2009: The Japan Airlines Group today announced minor changes to the boards of directors and executive officers of Japan Airlines Corporation (the JAL Group holding company) and Japan Airlines International, the Group’s main operating airline for FY2009, the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010.
The changes announced today are effective April 1, 2009 although some of them are subject to the approval of shareholders at the annual general meeting in late June, when proposed new board members announced today can be formally elected. New executive officers do not have board voting rights and their appointments do not require shareholder approval.
JAL Corporation and JAL International’s Board of Directors have been listed below reflecting the changes that will be made in FY2009, where promotions have been listed in bold.
Executive Officer promotions have been listed in separate tables for both companies.
