JAL Operates Charter Flight to Jakarta in Response to Sumatra Earthquake
Tokyo, October 1, 2009: Japan Airlines (JAL) extends its condolence to those affected by the strong earthquake that hit Indonesia’s Sumatra island yesterday.
At the request of the non-profit public organization, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), based in Japan, Japan Airlines will operate the following charter flight to Jakarta, Indonesia carrying relief goods and aid personnel from the organization.
