JAL Codeshares on Qantas Airways' Narita = Perth
TOKYODecember 17, 2010: Japan Airlines (JAL) and oneworld(R) alliance partner Qantas Airways (QF) reached an agreement to begin codeshare cooperation on QF-operated flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Perth from December 20, 2010. Sales and reservations begin the same day.
At present, JAL has its ‘JL’ code placed on QF flights between Singapore and 4 Australian cities - Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Further enhancing customer convenience, JAL will begin marketing the direct Narita=Perth flight by Qantas.
To Australia, JAL provides service on the route between Tokyo (Narita) and Sydney once daily, on which the airline’s award-wining seats JAL Shell Flat seat in business class and JAL Sky Shell seat in premium economy, are available.
