JAL and “Soup Stock Tokyo” to Introduce New Breakfast Menu on Select International Routes

TOKYO August 28, 2013: Japan Airlines (JAL) is in collaboration with “Soup Stock Tokyo”* to introduce new breakfast menu on flights departing from Tokyo (Haneda) to San Francisco, Singapore and Bangkok in Premium Economy and Economy Class from September 1, 2013.

*“Soup Stock Tokyo” belongs to Smiles Co., Ltd. and well-known for soup restaurant chain established in Japan.  

  

From September 2012, JAL offers “NORIBEN” which is also the menu collaborated with “Soup Stock Tokyo” on Tokyo (Haneda) to San Francisco, Singapore and Bangkok routes as well as introduces Japanese food culture to the world.

 

A new collaboration menu, “Tomato Stew with Chicken and Vegetables” will be offered as a breakfast before landing.

Varieties of vegetables and chicken are in the creamy tomato flavored stew.

The harmony of sour taste from tomato and milk makes delicately seasoned flavored soup just like “Soup Stock Tokyo” s.

JAL will continue seeking ways to bring passengers a unique and completely refreshing onboard experience through more delectable meal choices.

1.    Applicable Routes:  From Tokyo(Haneda) to San Francisco, Singapore and Bangkok

2.    Applicable Class:   Premium Economy and Economy Class

3.    Effective Period:    September 1 to November 30, 2013
