JAL to Introduce Original Aroma at Its Lounges in Japan
~JAL welcomes you to our international and domestic lounges with aroma in Japan ~
TOKYO September 5, 2013: Japan Airlines (JAL) will introduce the original aroma at its international and domestic lounges in Japan from September 20, 2013.
The JAL original aroma oils are specifically blended by Ms. Midori Makishima, an expert of fragrance and spatial rendition and a professional aroma oil blender (perfumer) Chihiro Murai from Promotool. The JAL original aroma oils have natural and gentle fragrance that use the Japanese cypress from Nagano Prefecture, Hinoki leaf from Aomori Prefecture, pine needle from Hokkaido Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture as well as Yuzu from Kochi Prefecture etc. to deliver JAL principle for its products and services based on “tradition”, “innovation” and “the heart of Japan”.
The airline would like to create a more comfortable and graceful atmosphere with a peace of mind to
our valued customers when they are waiting for boarding at our lounges in Japan.
JAL original aroma oils:
Two kinds of aroma oils will be available.

Main ingredients: Japanese cypress from Nagano Prefecture, Hinoki leaf from Aomori Prefecture, pine needle from Hokkaido Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture as well as sandalwood etc.
[Aroma oil in the evening]
Image: Luxury fragrance with sophisticated richness
Main ingredients: Yuzu from Kochi Prefecture, Hinoki leaf from Aomori Prefecture, rosewood, lavender and vetiver etc.

Domestic lounge: Diamond Premier Lounge/SAKURA Lounge
Tokyo (Narita)

Sapporo (New Chitose)
Domestic lounge: SAKURA Lounge
2. From October 2013 ~
JAL will progressively expand this service to its main airport lounges in Japan.
