JAL and JTB Team Up to Provide Overseas Travelers to Japan with New Domestic Package Tours Experience Japan “JAL Special Package”

TOKYO December 17, 2014: Japan Airlines (JAL) and JTB Group (JTB) announced that they had jointly planned and created new domestic package tours, Experience JapanJAL Special Package,” for individual travelers from overseas to Japan.

 

JAL President Yoshiharu Ueki said: “As Japan seeks to boost its standing as a tourist destination, more and more overseas visitors are expected to arrive in coming years, drawn by the country’s culture, scenery and places of historical significance. We wish our convenient network and high-quality services can deliver an unforgettable travel experience to overseas customers during their visit in Japan.” 

 

“The addition of ‘JAL Special Package’ to our Experience Japan brand will further enhance this unique line-up of package tours throughout Japan that are sure to satisfy even seasoned Japan travelers.” said Hisanori Zama, President of JTB Global Marketing & Travel Inc.

Starting December 17, 2014, customers who purchased Experience JapanJAL Special Package” are able to:

Enjoy the convenience of JAL’s continually expanded network with more than 120 routes throughout Japan

● Visit distant destinations where sightseeing bus or Shinkansen (bullet train) may not reach

Note: “Experience Japan” is a newly launched brand by JTB. It aims to meet the growing needs of individual travelers and repeat visitors to Japan. It is reasonably priced and some tours offer the GPS automated speech guidance in major Asian languages. The tours lineups include seasonal tours, regional tours, and Hands-on experiences such as Fruit picking, Hot springs (Onsen) and shopping.
