JAL Revises International Cargo Fuel Surcharge Benchmark

Tokyo, August 5, 2016:Japan Airlines decided to revise its International cargo fuel surcharge table, commencing October 1, 2016. The current table was introduced ten years ago. New change aims to create a system to be more appropriate to reflect the actual situation.

Additionally, JAL will continue to adjust its cargo fuel surcharge levels on a monthly basis by using the one-month average fuel price of Singapore kerosene of the month before last. Applicable level of fuel surcharge is subject to government approval.

 

JAL continues to make efforts, and be committed to provide customers with consistent cargo service.
