Japan Airlines (JAL) will open Diamond Premier Lounge at Osaka (Itami) Airport on Thursday, October 13, 2016, following this supreme lounge service offered at Tokyo (Haneda) and Sapporo (New Chitose) Airports. Using partial space of current Sakura Lounge on the third floor of the passenger terminal, Diamond Premier Lounge will serve improved meal and drink menus such as JAL’s specially baked curry bread.

The JAL Group will continue to embrace new challenges of offering innovative services to customers in order to deliver a pleasant and comfortable travel experience.

Overview of Facilities
After the priority security check for Diamond and JGC Premier members, lounge users can access to the new Diamond Premier Lounge on the third floor directly and smoothly, starting Thursday, October 13, 2016.

Diamond Premier Lounge Meal and Drink Menus
Light meals will be served in Diamond Premier Lounge at Itami Airport, following their introduction at Haneda and New Chitose Airports.

Customers will be able to enjoy soup, miso soup, bread and onigiri in addition to  JAL’s specially baked curry bread based on the well-received original curry at JAL’s international lounge.

Menus Served/Service Hours
- JAL specially baked curry bread (11:30 am ~ lounge closing time)
Focaccia with a curry filling developed from the popular JAL’s special beef curry served at the international lounge.

- Borsch-style tomato soup and miso soup (served all day)
Borsch-style tomato soup is made with onions from Awaji Shima, Hyogo Prefecture. Onions from the other regions may be used due to impact of bad weather.

- Bread and onigiri (served all day)
Extravagant croissants made with French AOP certified butter are also served.
