JAL Upgrades Its Lounge Service at Shanghai Pudong International Airport
~ Enjoy delicacies from Michelin starred restaurant in Shanghai ~
On November 1, 2016, Japan Airlines (JAL) will relocate its lounge service at Shanghai Pudong International Airport from the current Sakura Lounge to the newly established Shanghai VIP Lounge (SAA Lounge) to meet the diversified customer needs with the aim of achieving “customer satisfaction No. 1.”
The new SAA Lounge is three times larger than the current space at Sakura Lounge, which will provide customers with better relaxation before boarding. Additionally, some new amenities including shower rooms and locker rooms will be introduced at the new SAA Lounge to better meet customer needs.
Furthermore, catering for the increase of overseas visitor to Japan, the new lounge will provide hot meals produced by the popular Michelin one-star restaurant in Shanghai -- Jade de Jardin, in addition to freshly cooked noodles and dim sums prepared by chefs in front of the customers.
The JAL Group will continue to embrace news challenges to provide customers with more innovative products and high-quality services.

Note:
1) Amenities: Shower rooms, locker rooms, and baggage storage will be introduced newly.
2) Meals: Meals will be served from the Michelin one-star restaurant--Jade de Jardin. Chefs will also prepare noodles and dim sums in front of customers at the lounge.

Beef Noodles;
Sichuan noodles with peppery sauce;
Steamed small meat bun

Jade de Jardin, a renowned restaurant is rated as a one-star restaurant in the first Michelin Guide in China, Michelin Shanghai. - 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM: No. 37 VIP Lounge (SAA Lounge) near Boarding Gate 18
- 10:30 AM – last flight: current Sakura Lounge
