JAL Named the Best Airline in Japan by TripAdvisor for the Second Consecutive Year
~ Named Top 5 for the Best Airlines in the World ~
Japan Airlines (JAL) was selected as Japan’s best airline for the second consecutive year in the 2018 Travelers’ Choice™ awards for airlines by TripAdvisor®, the world’s largest travel planning and booking site based on flyer reviews.
The Travelers’ Choice awards for airlines were introduced in 2017 and are based on airline reviews/ratings by travelers worldwide using a unique statistical algorithm. The awards include the Top 10 World’s Best Airlines, Top 10 Best Airlines by region and Best in Class of Service. The regions include North America, Latin America, Asia, South Pacific & Oceania, Europe, Middle East, and Africa & Indian Ocean.
JAL`s ranking in the Top 10 World's Best Airlines category rose from 7th to 4th place, while also being awarded in the Travelers' Choice Asia category for its Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class service. In total, JAL received 6 awards in the 2018 Travelers’ Choice awards for airlines.
