Newly-revamped JAL First Class Lounge at Narita International Airport

On April 1, 2019, Japan Airlines (JAL) will open their newly-revamped International First Class Lounge located on the 4th floor of Terminal 2 at Narita International Airport. Featuring a new dining concept, JAL’s Table, chefs will prepare dishes right in front of the customer. From ramen noodles to a revamped sushi bar, JAL looks to pamper customers at this luxurious lounge to relax and have a comfortable flight to their destination of choice.

Design Concept
The lounge was designed by Ryu Kosaka1, a famous Japanese interior designer, who has been revamping JAL’s international and domestic lounges in Japan. The concept is based on “Modern Japanese,” representing elegance and sophistication.

1 Ryu Kosaka is the creative director of the Commercial Facilities Division at A.N.D. of Nomura Co., Ltd. He designed the main dining room at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Tokyo, as well as public spaces at the Shin-Marunouchi Building. He works under the motto of “your aspiration is our inspiration”.
