JAL Cargo Fuel Surcharge for the Month of May 2020

Japan Airlines (JAL) has requested for approval from Japan`s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) to revise its international cargo fuel surcharge for flights departing Japan from May 1, 2020.

JAL adjusts its cargo fuel surcharge levels on a monthly basis by using the one-month average fuel price of Singapore kerosene of the month before last. As the average fuel price of Singapore kerosene for the month of March 2020 was US$40.01 per barrel, cargo fuel surcharges will not be collected for the month of May 2020.
