Japan Airlines Welcomes International Travelers Back to Japan with Where Dreams Go Animated Campaign

TOKYO,October 11, 2022
To coincide with the opening of Japan’s borders to international travelers, starting October 11, 2022, Japan
Airlines is ramping up its international operations from North America, Europe, and Oceania to meet the
overseas demand.
In addition, Japan Airlines launched a global welcome back Where Dreams Go campaign in collaboration with
the Japan National Tourism Organization The campaign will be running in 19 markets to springboard the revival of its international flights. In addition, the campaign shares beneficial travel information for customers and a
chance to participate in the ticket giveaway contest. The Where Dreams Go campaign will continue through the end of the year.

Where Dreams Go: Entice new and returning travelers to Japan
The animated campaign colorfully highlights famous scenes throughout Japan with a splash of romance
and surrealism. The illustrations of real life places have been created to spark viewer’s imagination.
Production designer Yuhki Demers produced the striking visuals for this campaign. Mr. Demers’ work is well
known , and his accomplishments include the Oscar winning animated film, Spider Man: Into the Spider Verse.

Yuhki's connection to Japan is evident throughout this campaign. "Working on this project meant a lot for
me and especially for my mother," said Yuhki. "My mom first came to the United States from Japan as a high
school exchange student. She always visited her family in Japan flying Japan Airlines, so this project made
her proud."

Guide to Japan: Easy travel planning site for future travelers
As a part of the campaign, Japan Airlines has launched Guide to Japan, a rich content site to help future
travelers learn about the many unique destinations and available experiences to help make their travel
plans simple and easy.
