Limited Time Offer : Japan's First InFlight Unlimited Video Streaming Service Launched by J-AIR

Commemorating the Completion of Inflight Internet Installation on All 14 Embraer 190 Aircraft (E90)

Osaka, JAPAN - J-AIR, based at Osaka International Airport (Itami), the regional airline for Japan Airlines (JAL) group, has been the first in Japan to offer inflight internet services on regional aircraft (small aircraft with less than 100 seats) since December 2022. The airline has announced that by July 11, 2024, this innovative service will be available on all 14 Embraer 190 aircraft (E90) operated by J-AIR, following the completion of antenna installation work.

To commemorate this milestone, J-AIR will launch the “J-AIR Unlimited Video Streaming Service” from July 12 to September 30, the first for a Japanese airline. This service is made possible with the cooperation of Intelsat, allowing passengers to watch video streaming onboard the Embraer 190 aircraft (E90). In addition to the existing inflight internet services that enable the use of the internet, email, and social networking services through inflight Wi-Fi, passengers can now enjoy unlimited video streaming for free during the service period, making their flight experience even more comfortable.
