Tokyo, JAPAN – Japan Airlines (JAL) proudly sponsors the "Smart Mobility Expo - Advanced Air Mobility" at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan ("Expo 2025"), starting from April 13, 2025. Within the exhibition facility "Advanced Air Mobility Station," JAL will present the immersive theater "SoraCruise by Japan Airlines".

This theater will showcase flying cars, also known as eVTOLs, depicted in the JAL Group's future vision "JAL FUTURE MAP". By incorporating "immersive solutions" provided by Sony PCL Inc. (*1), which use realistic images, 3D sound, and vibrations, the theater will offer a thrilling sense of being aboard an eVTOL, allowing visitors to experience the future skies envisioned by next-generation mobility.

"SoraCruise" will take viewers on a flight experience over Osaka and various other locations. Against the backdrop of JAL's long history of challenges in air mobility since 1951, this immersive theater invites audiences on a journey to the future of air travel. In addition to the main theater experience, a "Digital Coloring Experience of Flying Cars" is also available, making it enjoyable for both children and adults.

JAL continues to challenge the creation of new mobility values using next-generation mobility, aiming to realize a society and future where many people and goods freely move around. At Expo 2025, serving as a "People's Living Lab," visitors are invited to experience the exciting future envisioned by the JAL Group.

"SoraCruise" incorporates immersive solutions provided by Sony PCL Inc. that stimulate the human senses. It utilizes realistic images, Sony's 3D sound technology, and haptics (tactile presentation technology) to enhance immersion through vibrations.
