Oman Air joins oneworld alliance

- Oman Air becomes the 15th alliance member -

Tokyo, JAPAN - On June 30, 2025, oneworld welcomes Oman Air as its 15th member airline. As the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Oman and the third Middle Eastern airline to join oneworld, Oman Air strengthens the alliance’s presence across the Gulf region and unlocks new opportunities for global travel.

Oman Air, with its hub at Muscat International Airport, serves 42 destinations across 22 countries and territories globally, including the key oneworld hubs around the world. Initially founded to serve important domestic routes, the airline has since undergone rapid growth and is today recognised as a major international carrier connecting cities around the world. 

With a young fleet of fuel-efficient Boeing 737s and 787 Dreamliners featuring luxurious interiors, Oman Air is recognized for its award-winning service both in the air and on the ground. The airline offers exclusive Business Studio Private Suites on longer-haul flights and has earned accolades such as the APEX Five-Star Major Airline Award 2024 and Skytrax’s ‘Best Airline Staff in the Middle East’ in 2023.

Effective 01 July, oneworld customers can access an extended network of destinations across Oman Air’s growing global schedule — including the launch of a new non-stop Muscat–Amsterdam service.

JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members will be able to earn JAL flight miles when flying with Oman Air, and redeem accumulated miles for award tickets on Oman Air flights. Additionally, JMB Diamond members, JGC Premier members, and other FLY ON status members will be able to enjoy oneworld Priority Benefits corresponding to oneworld Priority tiers, such as lounge access and priority check-in.
