This map highlights the Japanese craft distilleries whose whiskies have previously been featured in JAL inflight sales. (In Japanese only.)
 

Tokyo, JAPAN - Japan Airlines (JAL) encourages travelers to explore various regions of Japan by purchasing and enjoying Japanese craft whisky produced at distilleries scattered throughout the country. This is one of the initiatives by JAL to create relationships and societal connections through air transportation.
The tenth product in this series is “Ichiro's Malt CHICHIBU Single Malt JAL Exclusive 2025” and “Ichiro's Malt & Grain JAL Exclusive”, developed by Venture Whisky Ltd., a distillery led by CEO Ichiro Akuto and located in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. The products will be available in limited quantities through international inflight sales starting September 1, 2025.
On October 12, an event of the Chichibu distillery, which is normally closed to the public, will be offered to a limited number of JAL Mileage Bank members. This event will provide a rare opportunity to experience the Chichibu distillery through all five senses, including visits to the distillery facilities not open to the public and a tasting of the special limited edition "Ichiro's Malt CHICHIBU Single Malt JAL Exclusive 2024”.

Product Introduction
1. Ichiro's Malt CHICHIBU Single Malt JAL Exclusive 2025
This special bottle is made using whisky that embodies the essence of Chichibu, including unpeated whisky aged in bourbon barrels as the core, blended specially for JAL customers with Mizunara oak cask-aged and richly matured peated whiskies, creating a layered and distinctive flavor profile.
・Available To: JAL International First Class passengers
・Price: JPY40,000 (Only one bottle per person per flight)
・Also served onboard international flights in First Class.* (A different vintage may be served)

2. Ichiro's Malt & Grain JAL Exclusive
This special bottle is blended from about 20 different whiskies, each with its own unique character. It offers exceptional flavor with a lingering finish and complexity achieved by using whiskies aged for over 10 years on average, including some
aged for more than 20 years.
・Available To: JAL International First and Business Class passengers  
・ Price: JPY20,000 (Only one bottle per person per flight)
・ Also served onboard international  flights in Business Class (except Korean routes)*

JAL Mileage Bank Members Exclusive: A Five-Senses Tour of Chichibu Distillery
On Sunday, October 12, 2025, as a special "Nomu de Mile"** benefit by redeeming JAL miles, visitors will have unique access to Chichibu Distillery No. 1, the maturation warehouse, and Chichibu Distillery No. 2— locations that are normally closed to the public.
Additionally, participants will enjoy an exclusive tasting of the limited item "Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Single Malt JAL Exclusive 2024," which is usually served only in the international JAL First Class lounge.
・How to apply: This event is part of JAL's “Nom de Mile”** program.
Applications can be submitted via JAL's dedicated website (In Japanese only.).
・Required Miles: 10,000 miles per participant
