Singapore - Japan Airlines (JAL), a member of the oneworld® alliance, has been awarded the APEX (*) “Best in Wi-Fi in Eastern Asia” at the FTE/APEX Asia Expo held in Singapore on November 12, 2025.

(*) APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association), one of the world's largest airline industry associations based in North America, is a non-profit organization that includes airlines, airports, and airline-related suppliers worldwide. It also hosts the WORLD CLASS award, which JAL won for the fifth consecutive year this September.

APEX has partnered with TripIt, an itinerary management app by Concur, to award the best airlines based on survey results compiled from passengers on over 1 million flights across more than 600 airlines using the app.

<What Passengers Can Do with JAL Inflight Wi-Fi>
JAL’s inflight Wi-Fi service has evolved further, enhancing the travel experience for both international and domestic passengers:

● International Flights:
Passengers can enjoy free inflight Wi-Fi on all international flights. Those traveling in First or Business class have unlimited access throughout the flight. Premium Economy and Economy class receive one full hour of free Wi-Fi.
This period allows passengers to discover travel insights, post photos of inflight meals on social networks, or stay connected with family and friends—enriching their journey more pleasurable.

● Domestic Flights:
Passengers on domestic flights can enjoy unlimited video streaming, along with web browsing and email services, free of charge. This improvement has attracted enthusiastic feedback, enabling onboard entertainment at 35,000 feet.
