Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL), Sumitomo Corporation, Soracle Corporation (Soracle) (*1), and Osaka Metro Co., Ltd. (Osaka Metro) will host the "eVTOL Lab Special Event: The Expo 2025 Legacy～Sora Cruise Immersive Theater" (hereafter, "this event") at the OSAKAKO Vertiport (*2) starting Sunday, March 8, 2026.
This event features the re-opening of the immersive theater "SoraCruise by Japan Airlines" (hereafter, "SoraCruise"), which was highly acclaimed at the 2025 Osaka, Kansai Expo.

At the immersive theater "SoraCruise," visitors can experience the eVTOL(*3) depicted in the JAL Group's future vision, "JAL FUTURE MAP," through realistic imagery, spatial audio, and vibrations. Set against the backdrop of JAL's challenges in air mobility since 1951, visitors can enjoy a futuristic air journey as if they were actually on board, traveling over Osaka and various other locations. Additionally, Soracle—which aims to begin commercial operations in the Osaka Bay area in 2027—will display a 1/10 scale model of the eVTOL aircraft scheduled for operation, along with panels and video exhibits introducing the forefront of next-generation mobility.

As expectations for next-generation mobility rise following the Osaka, Kansai Expo, the "future of the sky" is steadily approaching. As a legacy of the Expo, visitors are invited to experience the future of air mobility at the OSAKAKO Vertiport.

Through this initiative, the four companies aim to accelerate the social implementation of "eVTOLs" as a safe, secure, and environmentally friendly next-generation means of transportation. By doing so, the four companies will promote the construction of new transportation networks, stimulate regional economies, and create a sustainable future of air travel.

■ Immersive Theater "SoraCruise" Overview
"SoraCruise," which was experienced by approximately 130,000 people and received great acclaim at the 2025 Osaka, Kansai Expo, has been renewed into a compact theater size for this occasion. While maintaining the same screening content and the immersive realism of the visuals, audio, and vibrations, visitors can realistically experience a future air journey over Osaka and the Kansai region aboard eVTOLs.

    • Additional Content: Visitors can experience digital drawing of eVTOLs.
