During the ceremony, a specially constructed runway in the hangar featured 37 JAL Group employees, including JAL athlete-employees. Dressed in vibrant attire inspired by nature, such as flowers and greenery, they promoted the appeal of GREEN×EXPO 2027 across diverse regions, generations, and industries.

Starting with the 1970 Osaka Expo, JUNKO KOSHINO has led numerous national projects through fashion, including serving as a senior advisor for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and supervising the uniforms for the operating staff.
Through this collaboration with JUNKO KOSHINO, who continues to showcase Japanese aesthetics and creativity to the world, JAL aims to widely promote the values of "coexistence with nature" and a "sustainable future," further fostering momentum for GREEN×EXPO 2027.

Comment from JUNKO KOSHINO:

"It is a great honor to have participated in this special collaboration expressing 'JAL's surprising hospitality,' which is rooted in refined Japanese gestures--a country that speaks of history and the future simultaneously.
Spring, summer, autumn, and winter--the flowers and plants that color Japan's four seasons are beautifully expressed in traditional clothing such as Kimono and Yukata. Their motifs and decorations exist as powerful messages that bring richness to our daily life and human interactions. While there are countless flowers and plants across the globe that remain unknown, may GREEN×EXPO 2027 serve as the origin of international friendship and exchange through the world's flowers and greenery."

Looking ahead, JAL plans to introduce a second "JAL Tunku Tunku JET" on international routes. The JAL Group remains committed to supporting the success of GREEN×EXPO 2027 through these dedicated flights and promotional efforts.
