JAL ECONOMY DISCOUNT FARES FOR FY2005

JAL Group discount fares for its FY2005 range of international discount economy class fares in the Japanese market go on sale today after having been filed yesterday with the Japanese aviation authorities. This year’s focus is on an expanded range of discount fares available through the Internet

The fares include a range of advance purchase fares (Mae-uri, in Japanese) under the JAL ‘’Goku’’ brand. Bigger discounts are offered on fares booked through JAL’s Japan web site, under the branding, SUPER WEB GOKU, or WEB GOKU. (Refer www.jal.co.jp/jalgoku/) Examples are as follows:

・SUPER MAE-URI (ADVANCE PURCHASE) GOKU 49 and SUPER WEB GOKU 49 (New item)

 

This new fare, for purchase up to 49 days in advance of travel, is available for Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Bookings for the SUPER WEB fare should be made through the JAL Home page.

Example: Bangkok: (purchase up to 49 days in advance)

SUPER MAE-URI (ADVANCE PURCHASE) GOKU 49: 46,000 Yen

SUPER WEB GOKU 49 (New item): 45,000 Yen

   

・AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND MAE-URI GOKU 35 and WEB GOKU35 (New item)

 

Example: Sydney (purchase up to 35 days in advance)

MAE-URI GOKU35: 60,000 Yen

WEB GOKU35: 58,000 Yen
