‘JAL Hokkaido 2005’Campaign - - free guidebooks, discount coupons & prize draws

Tokyo, April 28,2005: Japan Airlines has launched the `JAL Hokkaido 2005' Campaign to encourage travellers resident in Japan to visit Hokkaido between June 1st - October 31st, 2005. The campaign offers a range of exciting incentives to those who choose to travel to Hokkaido on JAL or JAL Express (JEX) during this period. JAL is offering free guidebooks, discount coupons and prize draws in which entrants can even win a Nissan `Murano' SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). The campaign will enable travellers to enjoy Hokkaido's spectacular scenery and multitude of leisure activities in full.

During the campaign period, JAL will present a`Hokkaido Experience Pass' in-flight to everyone onboard JAL and JEX flights to Hokkaido that depart before 5pm. In addition to providing useful information on Hokkaido, the pass entitles holders to a variety of special offers and discounts at restaurants and shops across the region.

Passengers travelling in the period of the campaign will be eligible for a free prize draw, in which 50 lucky winners will each receive a 3-day Hokkaido package holiday for two.* Twenty winners will be randomly selected from those who travel JAL to Hokkaido between June 1st - July 31st,with each winner receiving a `Nikko Annupuri 3-day' package for two and free rental of a Nissan `Murano' SUV for during their stay.** Thirty winners will be randomly selected from those travelling to Hokkaido during August 1st - October 31st with each winner receiving a `JAL Ski, Nikko Annupuri 3-day' package for 2.***

Every person who purchases a package tour branded with the `JAL Hokkaido Campaign 2005' mark will receive a `JAL Hokkaido Coupon & Guidebook' from JAL. The `JAL Hokkaido Coupon & Guidebook' contains coupons that can be used to obtain discounts at over 700 sites throughout Hokkaido. Travellers can enjoy at reduced prices a wide variety of activities including rafting, canoeing, hot-air ballooning, and horse riding. Furthermore, travellers who show a JAL IC Card when they book their package tour will receive double the amount of coupons.
