JAL Begins Sales of Special Airfares for New Narita=Boston Route
Presently, anyone traveling from Asia, including Japan, to Boston will have to make flight connections at some point during their journey. With the establishment of JAL’s inaugural trans-Pacific route in thirteen years, Boston will finally be linked with direct, nonstop flights to Asia for the first time, shaving off up to more than 6 hours of current travel times for passengers flying from Japan to the North American city center for commerce, culture and higher education.
To welcome customers to the latest destination on JAL’s international network, the following special airfares for travel betweenApril 22 and September 30, 2012, will be available for purchase online, at JAL’s ticketing offices and through travel agencies for a limited time from November 9 to January 31, 2012.

・Departures from other origins in Japan besides Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya are also available with the above fares at an additional charge of JPY 10,000.
・Connections via Boston to Chicago, New York, Miami and Dallas Fort Worth are also available with the above fares at an additional charge of JPY 20,000.
