Japan Airlines Announces Partial Revision to 2020 Summer Schedule in Response to COVID-19
Due to the global impact of COVID-19, Japan Airlines (JAL) today announced the decision to revise its flight frequency plans during the summer schedule of FY2020.
Reduction and Suspension on International Routes
Between March 29 and April 30, JAL will reduce and/or suspend the following services on its international network. The airline is currently reviewing additional routes and will announce details at a later date. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience but would like to ask for our customer`s understanding during this unprecedented time.
Applicable Period: March 29-April 30 (Routes: 6 / Flights: 462)
Note – Measures are based on the regulations set by the Japanese government, where flights originating from the country above are mandated to fly to Tokyo Narita or Osaka Kansai airport throughout the month of March. Based on updated measures, the schedules shown above are subject to change.
Disinfection of Aircraft Cabin – Additional Routes
Aircraft operating to airports listed below are disinfected during the overnight hours in Japan. Seat tables, arm rests, IFE monitors/controllers, lavatories (including door knob, sinks) and/or any areas where customers may touch during a flight are disinfected.
