JAL Group Adjusts Domestic Network Schedule between September 17-30
Based on recent reports, there is a decreasing trend on the number of COVID-19 cases in Japan. However, the number of incoming reservations is running below the current forecast for the latter half of September. As a result, the JAL Group decided to reduce additional flights on its domestic network between September 17 and September 30.
The JAL Group has implemented key measures against COVID-19 to provide our customers with a safe and secure travel experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but would like to ask for our customer`s understanding during this unprecedented time.
As a result of this announcement, the JAL Group plans to reduce 10,171 flights for the month of September. (equates to a 40% reduction on the carrier`s domestic network)
