Japan Airlines (JAL) today revised its flight frequency plans on select routes during the months of December and January 2021.

Key Highlights:
- To support essential travel needs for workers stationed abroad, the carrier will offer one-way service from Dallas Fort Worth to Chubu Centrair (NGO)
- To increase service from Hanoi to Narita; offering daily service during the month of December
- To increase service between Haneda=Honolulu and introduce new service between Narita=Honolulu during the month of December

The carrier will continue to review travel restrictions within each destination and update its international network, while providing customers with a safe and secure travel experience.

Extra Section Flights from Dallas Fort Worth to Chubu Centrair Airport
To support essential travel needs for workers planning to return to Central Japan, JAL will operate one-way flights on December 19 and December 22. Tickets are currently available for sale.

Increasing Service from Hanoi to Narita Airport
Due to the increased demand from Hanoi, JAL will operate daily flights during the month of December. Tickets are currently available for sale.

Extra Section Flights on Honolulu Routes
Based on the upcoming travel demand from Japan, JAL will increase extra section flights between Haneda=Honolulu and offer service between Narita=Honolulu during the month of December. Tickets will be available for sale from November 18. (12:00 Japan Standard Time)

Travel restrictions are still intact for flights between Hawaii and Japan. Currently, travelers must be quarantined for 14 days upon entering the State of Hawaii. However, the State of Hawaii has since announced plans for a pre-travel testing program for COVID-19, which allows travelers to waive the 14-day quarantine measure if tested 72 hours prior to departure with an FDA-approved test that shows proof of a negative result.

Since September 1, all travelers to the State of Hawaii must submit their local contact information, itinerary, and health conditions prior to travel.
