JAL Group Readjusts Domestic Network Schedule between January 13-31

The JAL Group today announced further reductions on its domestic network plan between January 13 and January 31, 2021. With the number of new COVID-19 cases being reported in Japan and the state of emergency now in effect within Tokyo and neighboring prefectures, travel demand is expected to decline in the immediate future. As such, the JAL Group will reduce additional flights and operate 60% of its domestic network within the month of January.
The JAL Group has implemented key measures against COVID-19 to provide our customers with a safe and secure travel experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but would like to ask for our customer`s understanding during this unprecedented time.
Note - Figures Include JAL Group Operated Flights (JAL, J-AIR, JAC, HAC, JTA, RAC)
Passengers accommodated on different flights/aircraft configurations may experience a change in the seat number, as well as the possibility of being downgraded when First Class or Class J service is unavailable on the aircraft.
