In response to requests from customers who are highly interested in environmental preservation and the
prevention of global warming, the JAL Group has been offering JAL Carbon Offset (* 1) since 2009 as an option to offset the CO2 emitted by the boarding aircraft. Following the renewal of the program for individuals (* 2) on February 1, 2022, the JAL Group will launch the program for companies from July 1.

In the newly launched program, the volume of CO2 emissions consumed during business trips by air travel will be visualized for each company and organization (* 3). When you participate, monthly CO2 emissions
quantities will be provided by email, and your company or organization can set up an account and access the
dedicated website. On the dedicated website, in addition to checking the history of the volume of CO2
emissions, if desired, offsets through support for various CO2 reduction and absorption projects in Japan and
around the world, and issuance of offset certificates is available.

This is a system in which emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases that cannot be avoided in daily life
and economic activities are first recognized and efforts are made to reduce them, and then the portion that is
difficult to reduce is compensated for by investing in reduction and absorption projects commensurate with the emissions.
