Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "JAL") aims to create relationships and societal connections through air transportation by selling Japanese craft whisky made at craft distilleries scattered throughout Japan, encouraging tourists to visit and experience various parts of the country.

As the third phase of this initiative (*1), 500 bottles of the KANOSUKE DOUBLE DISTILLERY, a blended Japanese whisky from Kanosuke Distillery(*2), will be available through the pre-order service for international inflight sales. Additionally, the SINGLE MALT KANOSUKE will be available for purchase on international flights.

1. KANOSUKE DOUBLE DISTILLERY
KANOSUKE DOUBLE DISTILLERY is a blended Japanese whisky made using carefully crafted recipes from two distilleries, with both spirits aged at Kanosuke. This unique Japanese whisky, inspired by Irish whiskey, combines the single malt distilled at Kanosuke and the whisky from Hioki, both located in Kagoshima, the southern tip of Japan. This whisky brings out the distinctive characteristics of each distillery, featuring a moderately oaky, rich, fruity aroma with a soft, bitter finish.

**How to Order**
Available to: JAL international First Class and Business Class passengers
Pre-order periods:
- From July 25, 2024, for flights departing from August 1, 2024, to August 31, 2024.
- From August 25, 2024, for flights departing from September1, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
Price: JPY13,000 (one bottle per person per flight)

(*3) Pre-order service: Advanced orders for certain products and services on international inflight sales can be placed online from the 25 of the previous month up to 72 hours prior to the departure date.
All customers who can confirm their reservations on the JAL website are eligible to use this service.

2. SINGLE MALT KANOSUKE
SINGLE MALT KANOSUKE is the flagship whisky from Kanosuke distillery, known for its mellow character. It is made using all three of the distillery’s copper pot stills and incorporates Ex-Mellowed Kozuru Casks in its aging regimen.
The aroma is sweet, like honey or lemon tea, and it has a spicy flavor reminiscent of ginger and cinnamon with a hint of smokiness that spreads on the palate. This is followed by a gentle and long-lasting taste of elegant, sweet bitterness.

Available to: All JAL international flight passengers
Period: From August 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024
Price: JPY9,000 (One bottle per person per flight)

3. Notice
- Sales are not available to customers under the age of 20.
- The products are not allowed on board connecting flights.
- Reselling or purchases for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited.
- The product may be sold out or otherwise unavailable for sale.
- Sales may also be terminated without prior notice.
