- Expanding India Network and Strengthening Partnership with IndiGo -

Tokyo, JAPAN - Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch non-stop service between Tokyo (Narita) and Delhi starting 17th January 2026, with ticket sales commencing today.

This new route complements existing service between Tokyo (Haneda) and Delhi, significantly enhancing convenience for both business and leisure customers, providing more options to travelers between India and Japan, including those connecting to and from other destinations within JAL’s expansive international and domestic network.

India's economy is experiencing remarkable growth, with travel demand between Japan, India, and North America expanding considerably. In addition to meeting this growing demand, the Narita-Delhi service will contribute to further travel growth across these regions.
The route will operate alongside the current Narita-Bengaluru service, strengthening Narita's position as a major gateway connecting these regions.

This network expansion is a significant milestone in JAL's longstanding engagement with the Indian market, dating back to the first scheduled service to Delhi on May 4, 1965. For over 60 years, JAL has supported Japan-India relations, contributing to deepened ties between the two countries, and through this expanded service, JAL aims to further contribute to even deeper ties for the next 60 years.

The JAL Group remains focused on optimizing its route network while enhancing convenience, comfort, and the quality of its products and services. By creating connections and fostering relationships through travel, JAL seeks to generate social and economic value for customers and stakeholders across society within the regions and markets that JAL serves.
