Notification of Flight Delays Due to JFK Airport Incident
(Press Memo – For Immediate Release)
At approximately 00:40 on December 14, 2025 (local time), an Airbus A330 operated by another airline which was being towed, contacted the left-side cockpit window of a Japan Airlines aircraft, JA10WJ, which was properly parked in a designated area at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) for maintenance, with maintenance personnel on site.
As a result of the damage, repairs are required. Efforts have been made to minimize operational impacts; however, regrettably, aircraft substitutions and flight delays will occur on some flights.
We ask for the understanding of our customers and stakeholders regarding any inconvenience caused.
The flights currently scheduled for delay are as follows:
