JAL Group Announces FY2026 Schedule on Domestic Network

Summary

1. First Class service to be introduced on selected flights of the Osaka (Itami) – Sapporo (New Chitose) route.
2. Boeing 787-8 aircraft services will be expanded on Tokyo (Haneda) – Ishigaki and Miyako routes from July
17 to August 31, with larger aircraft operating during this period.
3. Flight frequencies will be increased on routes from Osaka (Itami) to Naha and Hakodate, and from Chubu and Fukuoka to Sapporo (New Chitose) during the summer period.

Tokyo, JAPAN – The JAL Group today announced the domestic network plan for fiscal year 2026. Details regarding the international flight schedule plan will be provided once finalized.

● Service Enhancement on Osaka (Itami) – Sapporo (New Chitose) Route
To meet strong demand, First Class service will be introduced on selected flights on the Osaka (Itami) – Sapporo (New Chitose) route (*), providing a more comfortable inflight experience.
   (*) Available only on flights operated with aircraft equipped with First Class seats.

● Expansion of Capacity and Service on Resort Routes
For the Tokyo (Haneda) – Ishigaki and Miyako routes, JAL will continue operating larger Boeing 787-8 aircraft, following last year's implementation. Furthermore, for fiscal year 2026, the operation period will be expanded to July 17 – August 31. Accordingly, the availability of First Class service on these routes will also be extended, offering more customers with a more comfortable travel experience during the summer holiday season.

● Increased Frequency During the Summer Period
Flight frequencies will be increased on the following routes to meet concentrated travel demand during the summer holidays:
  ○ Osaka (Itami) – Okinawa (Naha) and Osaka (Itami) – Hakodate: Frequency will be increased by one daily round trip           on each route from July 17 to August 28.
  ○ Nagoya (Chubu) – Sapporo (New Chitose) and Fukuoka – Sapporo (New Chitose): Additional flights will be operated         during the peak period from August 8 to August 16.

JAL will continue to introduce aircraft offering the highest levels of comfort and advanced environmental performance, such as the Airbus A350-900, which is currently being introduced as a leading model, as well as the upcoming Boeing 737-8 and Airbus A321neo. Commitment remains strong to enhancing customer comfort and achieving a sustainable future. A new boarding experience tailored to the new era is anticipated. Furthermore, by creating connections through travel, social and economic value will be generated, and the route network will continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
