Indoor exhibition space

Tokyo, JAPAN― The JAL Group will begin exhibiting the immersive theater "SoraCruise by Japan Airlines" (hereinafter, "SoraCruise") , a virtual experience featuring "flying cars," at the JAL SKY MUSEUM starting August 1, 2026. Previously featured as a limited-time exhibition in the Osaka area at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai and the Osaka Port Vertiport, SoraCruise will now become a permanent exhibition, available to experience anytime during facility tours.

First unveiled at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, SoraCruise utilizes an immersive solution(*1) provided by Sony PCL Inc. Through realistic visuals, 3D audio, and vibrations, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience as if actually riding in a flying car. During the Expo, it was highly popular, drawing approximately 130,000 visitors, and the JAL Group has received numerous requests for its return.

SoraCruise, permanently installed at the JAL SKY MUSEUM, has been made compact in both size and video content to allow as many people as possible to experience it. While seated, visitors can journey through various locations, including the skies over Osaka, enjoying the sensation of actually riding in a "next-generation car." Please come and experience the latest air mobility technology and an immersive video experience.

Additionally, the exhibition space also includes an area introducing the JAL Group's initiatives for implementing flying cars. In conjunction with SoraCruise, this allows visitors to enjoy and explore the future of air travel and mobility from multiple perspectives.
