TOKYO, JAPAN -- Japan Airlines (JAL) has signed a partnership agreement with the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and Asian Para Games Organizing Committee to serve as an Official Supplier in the Passenger Air Transport Services category for the 20th Asian Games and the 5th Asian Para Games, to be held in 2026, centered in Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City.

Amid accelerating social and economic globalization, the sense of unity generated by sports across national borders serves as a powerful force that inspires courage and vitality. Connecting Japan to the world over many years, JAL has long supported the travel of individuals taking on global challenges in pursuit of their dreams and goals. Under this partnership, JAL will contribute to the smooth operation of the Games by ensuring a safe and comfortable travel environment to strongly support the athletes. Furthermore, JAL aims to amplify the excitement generated by athletes competing fiercely across the Tokai region, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and tourism demand.

In addition, four of JAL's athlete employees(*) -KITAGUCHI Haruka (Athletics / Javelin Throw), KANO Koki (Fencing / Épée), KORA Ayaka (Athletics / Long Jump), and MURATAKE Rachid (Athletics / 110m Hurdles)- are scheduled to compete in these Games. JAL will support not only the dedicated spirit of its own athlete employees, but also the passionate endeavors of all participating athletes, delivering genuine emotion and passion to people around the world.
