JAL group will totally renew its domestic fares for flights departing as of April 12, 2023, beginning sales from
May 17, 2022.
The current 9 types of fares including "Normal Fare for Adults", "Special Fare" and "Advance Fare" will be

abolished and merged into "Flex", "Saver" and "Special Saver" to make the fare structure simpler and easier to understand, and the method of setting Class J and First Class fares will be changed.
We will also introduce new fares that offer savings in various situations, such as Round-Trip and connecting
flights, as well as "Award Ticket PLUS" in which the number of miles varies depending on congestion, to
provide fares that are more comprehensible, economical and convenient to use than ever before.

Key points of renewal
1．Simple and comprehensible Fare lineup
Domestic flight fares will be merged into "Flex", "Saver" and "Special Saver".
The current 9 types of fares including "Normal Fare for Adults," "TOKUBIN," and "SAKITOKU," will be replaced by simple and comprehensible fares.

2. Class J/First Class Fare setting
Previously, Class J/First Class Fare has been set based on the Economy Class fare with a certain amount
added for all routes. However, from now on Class J/ First class fares will be set individually for each route. As a result, the price difference between the Class J/First Class fare and the Economy Class fare will no longer be a fixed amount common to all routes, but will vary by route depending on distance and other factors.

3. Economical Fare
①Expanded Round-Trip Discount "Round-Trip Saver"
Previously, the Round-Trip discount was only applicable for "Normal Fare for Adults" for Round-Trip.
From now on, the Round-Trip discount（*2） will be applied to any combination（*1） of "Flex", "Saver”and
"Special Saver”fares for both outbound and inbound trips.
（*1）For example, if the fares are different for outbound and inbound flights, such as "Saver” for outbound
and “Special Saver”for inbound, the discount will be applied.
（*2）In any combination, the fare after applying the round trip discount will be “Round Trip Saver”.
(Reservation cannot be changed.)

② Expanding the eligibility for discounts for children, customers with disabilities, and caregivers
returning home.
Previously, discounts for children, people with disabilities, and caregivers returning home have been offered as a discount on Normal Fare for Adults. From now on, the discount will be expanded to cover not only to “Flex”
but also to “Saver”,”Special Saver”and “Round Trip Saver”and the following discounts will be discount.
【Discount rate】
・Child discount：25% discount from the applicable fare(*3)
・Customers with disabilities discount：20% discount from the applicable fare (*3)
・Care Giver discount：10% discount from the applicable fare (*3)
(*3) The discount rate is based on the fare amount excluding tax.

③Introduction of economical transit fares
We have established fares such as “Flex,””Saver,”and “Special Saver” fares that are more economical than
purchasing individual flights if purchased as a whole（*4） from the origin to the final destination when
connecting multiple flights. These fares can be used in combination with the discounts in ①and ②above.
（*4）There is a condition that the fare can be purchased through JAL. For details ,please refer to JAL Web

4. Convenient (Easy -to -use )”Award Ticket PLUS”miles
The "Award Ticket PLUS"service, already introduced for international flights, will be introduced for domestic
flights as well. Currently, there are two types of mileage settings, "Award Ticket" or "Award Anytime Ticket", but the new "Award Ticket PLUS" will be even easier to use, with the number of miles varying according to
congestion conditions.

5. Schedule
New Fare: Boarding starts on April 12, 2023 (Sales start on May 17, 2022)
Current Fare: Until April 11, 2023 (both reservation and boarding)

6. Others
・The details of Flex, Saver,Special Saver and Round Trip Saver are as follows.

・ Refund charge abolishment
The refund fee currently set for ticket refunds will be abolished. Cancellation charge will be set per fare as at
present.
