Overcoming 55 Years of Time,
Drawing the Future of the Sky Again.

Since its founding in 1951, the JAL Group has aimed to connect people, regions, and the world through air travel, striving to create a society filled with excitement.

Going back 55 years, the Jumbo Jet appeared as a symbol of the future of the sky at the 1970 Japan Expo. It was a moment when people around the world were thrilled by the new mode of travel.
Finally, the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is about to open. JAL sees this event as an opportunity to embody new hope.

The future depicted in the “JAL FUTURE MAP” is not mere fantasy.
From the challenge of next-generation air mobility "flying cars" to other initiatives, JAL believes that all these futures are achievable.
At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, JAL will deliver the future of the sky to visitors through immersive exhibits that allow them to experience these possibilities firsthand.
JAL will continue to carry dreams and encounters, contributing to the creation of future society.

JAL's Three Goals

JAL will implement three goals and related initiatives during the Expo period to achieve the sustainable society aimed by the Expo and JAL's vision.

1. Making Air Travel More Accessible
Starting April 13 (Sunday), an exhibit related to flying cars will be held at the Expo venue.
◆An immersive theater "SoraCruise By Japan Airlines" will be launched (*1).
This theater will provide a realistic experience as if you are boarding a flying car, with real images, stereophonic sound, and vibrations, allowing visitors to experience the future of the sky created by JAL's next-generation mobility.
Additionally, during the Expo period, JAL staff will wear special scarves and guide visitors within the exhibit facility.
