JAL/JTA Announces International Fare Fuel Surcharge for Tickets Issued Between December 3, 2025 and January 31, 2026
Tokyo, JAPAN - In line with the start of sales for Okinawa (Naha)–Taipei (Taoyuan) route (*), Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Transocean Air (JTA) have applied to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the Fuel Surcharge to be applied from tickets issued from December 3, 2025. As a result, Okinawa–Taipei/Kaohsiung route, which was previously classified under the "Japan–East Asia" category, will be reclassified under the "Japan–Korea/Far East Russia" category. Therefore, the applicable surcharge amount will change from those announced on October 20.
Please note that there is no change from to the applicable conditions table for Zone G.
The Fuel Surcharge applicable for tickets issued between December 3, 2025 and January 31, 2026 is as follows.

- The surcharge applies to flights operated by Japan Airlines as well as code-share flights operated by other airlines.
